About

Randall Hilt

Writer • Director • Storyteller

No matter the setting or genre, I gravitate toward stories about people searching for and finding their place.

My own journey has taken me from a '70s kid outside Pittsburgh, armed with action figures, comic books, polyhedral dice, and a limitless imagination, to following the Grateful Dead across the country before eventually settling in Las Vegas and earning a Bachelor of Science in Writing for Television and Film, graduating magna cum laude from The Los Angeles Film School.

Along the way, I've worked in restaurants, retail, rideshare, construction, copywriting, and countless other jobs, meeting people from every walk of life. Those experiences shaped who I am and continue to shape every character and every story I write.

Today, my work spans feature films, television, comic books, tabletop role-playing games, and prose. Whether I'm writing epic fantasy, supernatural thrillers, cyberpunk superheroes, or even memoir, I'm drawn to stories about outsiders, identity, redemption, found family, and the choices that define us.

My goal is simple: to create stories that entertain, but remain with audiences long after they're over.

Creative Tools

I use a combination of traditional writing, graphic design, photography, and AI-assisted visual development to rapidly prototype concepts, marketing materials, and promotional artwork. Every image is prompted under my creative direction to communicate the tone, characters, and worlds of my original projects.

The AI art that I produce is solely for the purpose of promotion and presentation! I respect and envy artists and look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with them as these projects grow.
